I am an Associate Professor of Economics (W2, tenure-track) at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich, as well as a Research Affiliate in the CESifo Network. My research focuses on topics in public economics and household finance. 

Prior to joining LMU, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NBER. I received a PhD from the UC Berkeley Department of Economics and undergraduate degrees in mathematics and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
